Ulmer Lyriksommer: Where Dust Becomes Light

At this Poetry Summer reading, Björn Hayer presents his book "The House". At its center lies the question: “Will we ever see each other again?” In poetic miniatures between essay and poem, he explores memories of a beloved person who has disappeared and yet remains present. Language becomes a place of longing, the house a resonant space of loss and closeness. The texts revolve around grief and consolation, farewell and new beginnings; Orpheus and Dante also appear as mythic companions.
